As a kid in the 50s, I spent a lot of time with relatives (I’m deliberately not saying ‘kinfolk’) in the Ozarks. In those days, everything was completely different, and everything was exactly the same. Some people live by a code. This movie is magnificent, but sometimes a little too close to home.

I have a high opinion of Jennifer Lawrence, but I don’t know how she’ll ever top this one. If there’s any chance you haven’t seen it, Check it out!
