NEEDS EDITING
Fallen Angels
A few years back, I paid a black woman $30 to have her picture taken with me so that if people asked I could say she was my wife.
I guess I am a late bloomer: Maybe I am too picky!
She didn’t show up: My expiration date came first!
I asked you not to see her: But you did!
We all need a partner: When will I find mine?
I want to place an advertisement for my friend: On the front page!
The best thing about my profession: Is that there is no need to make any decisions!
“We rub elbows with a lot of people every day. Some of them might become your friends or even confidants. So I never turn my back on a chance to rub elbows. Sometimes I rub ‘til I bleed. No big deal as long as I’m happy. “
Despite viewing these movies (Chungking Express and Fallen Angels) countless times, I have no idea what they are about. One problem I have with them is that I become so mesmerized by what is happening on the screen, and the Mad-Magazine-esque scenes going on in the background, that I neglect to watch the subtitles. As a result, I have to make up a story in my head as I go along.
But maybe we’re not supposed to know what is going on. Some of the greatest movies ever made. Check them out!
